Learn diving emergency response with the SSI React Right course in Gran Canaria
The SSI React Right course at Scuba Sur Gran Canaria teaches essential emergency response skills for divers and non-divers. Conducted near our dive center at Anfi del Mar, Arguineguín, the course covers first aid, CPR, primary assessment, and emergency stabilization techniques. It is an important safety certification for divers and a prerequisite for professional SSI training programs.
Training Overview
The course begins with online theory through the my.DiveSSI app, which you can complete at your own pace before arriving in Gran Canaria.
The practical training takes place near the Scuba Sur dive center at Anfi del Mar. During the session you will practice individual emergency skills and then apply them in realistic emergency scenarios.
This program includes:
- Primary assessment of emergency situations
- First Aid and CPR skills
- Primary stabilization techniques
- Optional training in Oxygen Administration for diving emergencies
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) basics
Certification Result
After successfully completing the course, you receive the SSI React Right certification. This certification is required for several advanced SSI programs such as SSI Dive Guide and other professional-level training.
