The SSI Navigation course at Scuba Sur Gran Canaria teaches you to safely and confidently navigate underwater using a compass and natural cues. Starting from our Anfi del Mar, Arguineguín dive center, this course helps you estimate distances, follow navigation patterns, and return safely to your starting point. Certification is recognized worldwide.
Training Overview
This course combines online theory via the my.DiveSSI app with practical training. You can complete the theory at home or during your holiday. Practical skills are taught at Scuba Sur’s Gran Canaria center, including 1 open water dive for hands-on navigation experience.
Certification Result
After completing the course, you earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification, allowing you to navigate confidently underwater during recreational dives worldwide.
