The SSI Nitrox course teaches you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Diving with enriched air increases your no-decompression limits, increases your safety, and reduces the required length of your surface intervals when compared to air. People also confirm they feel less tired so can do more dives in a day. The SSI Nitrox is a must-have when you want to join a liveaboard!
In this “dry” course (only theory!) you will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification after completing this program.
Nitrox dives can be booked after having completed the course (limited availability).
The training
You need to start with the online theory, which you do at your own pace using the my.DiveSSI app. You can do this at home so there is no need to study whilst on holidays. Missed this opportunity, no worries! You can still do the theory on you mobile device whilst enjoying the our nice climate on your holiday balcony. The practical course will be conducted at the Scuba Sur premisses. No dives are required for the certification.
The result
Once certified, the SSI Nitrox certification allows you to dive with enriched air nitrox up to 40% worldwide. Ready to enjoy long and intensive diving holidays!
