Take the step and become a diver
It is a big misconception that a diving course is very complex and it takes a long time to learn how to do it. The days scuba diving was thought as a military discipline are long gone. Most Diving Associations (organisations that create the diving programs and set out the standards, guidelines and rules for teaching people to dive) have created programs making diving accessible for everybody. By cutting the complexity in small, easy to digest parts, diving can be thought in small steps allowing you to gain experience and get certifications at your own pace.

Scuba Sur Diving Gran Canaria works with two Diving Associations, each offering different programs so also focusing on a slightly different public.
PADI – Professional Associations of Dive Instructors
PADI is by far the largest Diving Association worldwide. PADI Divers carry scuba diving credentials accepted worldwide. No matter where you choose to dive, your PADI certification card will be recognized and accepted. PADI principally focuses on recreational diving, meaning doing dives allowing you to surface without doing mandatory decompression stops.
As a PADI 5Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC) Scuba Sur Diving Gran Canaria offers the full range of PADI Courses, from the starter courses, over Advanced and specialty courses up till Divemaster and Instructor level.
ITDA – International Technical Diving Association
ITDA is one of the few Diving Associations that covers the full market of the diving industry. Besides recreational and technical diving, ITDA has developed programs from commercial diving and dive medics. Based on the full portfolio of courses, all courses include small bits of other programs allowing students to enlarge their understanding in diving theory and help them become a better diver.
Scuba Sur Diving Gran Canaria offers the full range of recreational and technical diving, from novice diver up to instructor level.
