“La Cathedral” is a cavern dive in the north shore of Gran Canaria where you descend to the arch at 12-14 m, through large natural holes into the cavern below. The cavern then stretches down to 45 m, with light streaming in through the entry points above you in the roof. The underwater geology is spectacular, but marine life can be a little bit rare after some of the island’s sites, although it is possible to find prawns, crabs and other inhabitants needing limited light. La Cathedral is probably one of the most spectacular diving spots on account of its sheer beauty and unusual rock formations.
